Moving Up!
HR Sports Academy is a Community Interest Company dedicated to empowering children and young people with valuable life skills and the belief that they have what it takes to be great. We build a brighter future for youths by enhancing the quality of their sporting, educational and work experiences. We provide fun, safe, and engaging opportunities for young people to use as a catalyst for positive youth development and success.
We are excited to invite your child to take part in the second round of our Moving Up! project. This project is free of charge and works with current year 6 students and prepares them for the move into secondary school. We do this by developing their confidence, friendships and support circles through sport participation. We also provide mentoring sessions whereby they will be able to discuss moving schools. The small group and 1-2-1 mentoring sessions aim to boost their self-esteem, self-confidence, attainment levels and engagement with education. Participants will have the opportunity to go on trips to develop trust and relationships with their peers and mentor.
