The recruitment process

  1. Interview with HR Sports Academy Management

  2. Qualifications and certificates are verified

  3. Employer reference checks

  4. Communication with current/most recent employers

  5. DBS Check

  6. Signed declaration to abide by the HR Sports Academy Code of Conduct and Practice
     

Once your position with HR Sports Academy has been confirmed we provide you with:



  1. Initial training via our Coach Development Programme

  2. Ongoing coaching, child protection and first aid training

  3. Ongoing coach mentoring programme

Youth Work Experience

HR Sports Academy give students and young people, over the age of 18, the opportunity to work alongside our professional coaching staff in a variety of different roles.

 

As a placement student you’ll be working with children aged 4 to 17. Our light-hearted application and interview process are tailored to suit each individual, not only providing you with enhanced employment credentials but also fulfilling compulsory course requirements for many colleges and universities.

 

We’re flexible about how many hours or weeks you need to work (although this will usually be between one to two weeks on a placement basis).

 

NOTE: Placements are voluntary and unpaid.

You will benefit from:

​

  • Working with an experienced team of staff. Multi Sport, Football and Dance coaches who have great advice and tips for young, aspiring coaches.

​

  • Delivering programmes with a great range of sports and activities

​

  • Working in a variety of venues - Local Leisure Centres, Primary Schools and Secondary Schools.

​

  • Sports Development training while in the office. Learning the importance of sport administration.

​

  • Working with a wide age range of children (4 to 17).

​
